It's good to be a blogger......

Everyone has an opinion on something, but not everyone will put pen to paper, put that paper in an envelope, affix a stamp and mail their opinion off to their local paper.
Blogging has changed that.

Blogging allows Americans to get their civic voice back. It puts the town square right at your computer desk. Blogging emboldens you;it reminds you that you have a stake in issues and events and that your opinion matters. Sharing information and commenting on posts that others have written is awakening the "citizen" in all of us.

BelowBoston's mission statement:

"Shining a progressive light on the political landscape from Quincy to the Cape "

This mission statement is one that we are planning to take seriously. We are a group of activist Democrats who reside on the South Shore and we see first hand how decisions made in Washington, the State House in Boston, and right down the street at our local Town Halls, affect all of us.

Please log on and begin posting - it is Town Meeting season in our area and local elections are just starting to occur. There is plenty to discuss.
